After a month and a half of traveling around on the South Island, Tyler and I sure have seen a lot of beautiful places. The South Island of New Zealand is strikingly different from the North Island in many ways, especially in how fast the landscape changes. You will be driving around and suddenly find yourself in the desert, then turn a corner and be surrounded again in pine trees, then drive a bit further and end up on the beach. With its lack of people and long curving roads, there were so many photo opportunities it was hard to pick out my favorite photos from our time on this amazing island. Here are some of my favorites and I hope a couple of them will inspire people to quit their jobs, buy a van, and go explore like we did!
